Definite Articles
When you want to talk about something singular of the masculine gender: su
Example: su mare, su piseddu, s'ómine, s'àrbure (the sea, the boy, the man, the tree)

Of the feminine gender: sa
Example: sa domo, sa màchina,sa fèmina, s'abba (the home/house, the car,the woman,the water)

Masculine plural: sos
Example: sos piseddos, sos ómines, sos àrbures (the boys, the men, the trees)

Feminine plural: sas
Example: sas fèminas,sas màchinas,sas piseddos (the women, the cars,the children)

Indefinite Articles
In Sardinian we have only two indefinite article: unu for the masculine; una for feminine.

Example:
un ómine (a man) if you talk about any man paret unu caddu,
currende (it looks like a horse, running) any horse,
un'amiga sua (a girlfriend of hers) any girlfriend,
una carrera manna (a big/wide street) any street.
